Why does OPC workx only accept the main ethernet IP (reads this from the cd2 file) and not the auxillary ethernet IP.

The main ethernet IP is configured for Fins Protocol. The auxillary ethernet IP is the one that does not support drivers, and is the one I would like to connect to my factory network.

Hello,

Neither of the ports are link to the drivers. The drivers just happen to be listed below the main ethernet in the comms tree. The system looks at the destination IP of each packet and determines which port it should be sent out of.

Also regarding OPCWorx, you can manually change the IP address after it has been read from the .cd2 file.

Thanks
Jeremy
