We currently have a Nematron IWS-120-V4 connected to a PLC-5 running our gas compressor system. The display is not readable due to deterioration from the elements. We would like to replace it with like kind or better. Has anyone had experience with these particular "Industrial Computers"? I have looked for information on how to extract the old program, but have not found the answer yet. I would also be open to other flat panel displays since the information provided by this one is pretty sparse.

The Nematrons I have worked with are basically just Monitors with a keyboard. What I mean is the video driver is in you PLC rack and the keyboard part plugs into an ASCII input module. So the actual "program is on the video card in you PLC rack.

I have (2) Nematrons in house, they are located in ann arbor michigan, i have all the info if you need it. the repair cost for a new screen would be much cheaper then replaceing the unit
