To crane operator:

" Don't bring the load directly over the people or machinery."

How simple is a request like that???

After getting laughed at several times this is the result.

No one was hurt but there was far more damage to the machine than just the console.

Plus we just got the line running like it was supposed to.

Recent history is replete with examples of why those rules exist. Unfortunately too often ignored. Glad no one was injured. Maybe they'll understand now.
