RSLogix5000 & CompactLogix

... eehm, and how is it when i want to use at my network modul
(1734-AENT) some 8-channel-digital-inputs/outputs (1734-IB8/OB8)?
... because i cannot choose them ...

Do I need a more actual version than RSLogix5k V13???

RSLogix5 V.13 will work fine.

Once you add the 1734-AENT module, in the "General" tab of the Module Properties, you must set the Chassis size to something greater than 1. The first slot is reserved for the AENT. If you want to add an I/O module, set the chassis size to 2 or greater.

Yeah, i found that allready out by myself, but when i turn the

chassis - number to 2 or more i can choose modules like 1734-IB2/4
but not IB8´s or OB8´s as shown on the following picture´s.

-) and when i want to add a new module at the 1734-AENT

This is so funny. I just was fighting this yesterday. You have to go to the Rockwell web site and download new I/O module profiles.

OK... now i see a little bit more clear.

But after this procedure (IB8 in this example) it looks like this:

So where do I have now my 8 - Inputs? Because now it looks like I
have 5 * 8In´s?

With digital - output it looks all ok:
