Hello.
I´m a plc-rookie and really need help.
I have a Siemens 312 PLC , CP 340 rs232 card and an Epson cash display.
I want to send a counter value and a count down value from a timer.
I´ll explain: A timer starts to count down from ex. 60 seconds, and a counter count number of positive edges from an input. After 60 seconds the counter stops. I also want to send some text message to the display it has 2 x 20 characters.
Very easy if you know how to do it
I have configured the hardware and it works correct, but I don't understand how to use FB3 in the editor? I've read the pdf-manual about the CP340 card, but I don´t understand it. Because when I activate the function the PLC switch to stop mode.
I need tips how to configure the FB3 and if I have to configure the instance data block?
If you take your time to explain, please explain in a level to a 6 year old child
Here is my hardware config:
PLC CPU312 V1.1 312-5AC02-0AB0
Com. CP340 340-1AH01-0AE0
Display Epson DM-D105
Manager V5.5 + SP1
Best Regards
