Hello all,
Some of you may be familiar with the RAM searching program for Windows computers, Cheat Engine. You can search RAM directly for values: searching "26" will return all memory instances of the value 26 at that instant. One can further refine this search by causing the value to change, then doing a second search (on the results of the first) for the new value, ad infinium, until you find the singular memory entry you're looking for.
I was curious if something to this effect is possible on (specifically AB Studio 5000) PLCs? If I know a value, for example the amount of product in a bin, is there a way to search "55" (that amount) and return a list of all integers, reals, etc. that contain the value of "55"? I think this could be a huge time-saver for maintenance personnel.
Thanks for your knowledge!
