Shift register in GX developer [mitsubishi FX-1S]

Hi,

I'm currently setting up a shift register for missubishi FX-1S using GX developer.

I'm using relays M0-M7 as the shift register.

Is it correct that another relay must provide the SFTL pulse to M0?

And is there a line of ladder required for each relay in the register each with an output?
