Siemens asi safe ET 200sp

Hi all
I have a machine with loads of asi safety switches on and I/O
I was looking at the OEM Program and I’m thinking that the asi safe is an add on for Tia portal professional v 15.1 and I will need to purchase the add on ?

Im ask as if I need to change the safety door switch in the future I will need to address the new switches and teach the asi master ( but the Oem has said it automatically gets it node from non volitile memory )but then needs teaching via software or hard wired on teach 1 & teach 2 for 3s ??

I haven’t tried yet just after information,has anyone done this sort of thing on a 1500 and asi ET 2000sp ?

It sounds a easy enough my I’m sure if I know the software way and the hard wired way that’s all bases covered ?

If site wiring conditions allow, I would add any new safety using ET200SP safety cards. Things may have improved but my previous experience with ASi has meant I have avoided it.
