Siemens CPU Internal error ? Reason ?

This morning a customer of us called because nothing worked on his machine. I connected via VPN. The CPU state was STOP. I did a Warm-Restart and all was okay.

Here some diagnostic info of the cause:





What can we do to prevent that it happens again ? New MMC, New CPU ?

Could you give me the complete diagnostic data from this PLC (use the "save as.." button) and the order code from the CPU? Did this happen after a voltage drop?

Probably noise, brown-out, or other power supply problems.
But could also be because of a firmware bug.

What is the exact type # of the CPU ?
What is the firmware version ?

Yes indeed, as you can see in the diagnostic buffer Event 10: No Voltage.

Event #10 from your diiagnostics show event #4580. This should be fixed with firmware update v2.6.11

After power ON there will be no more sporadical loss of actual values after overall reset with Event ID 16#6522 or 16#4580 ( backup buffer inconsistent ).
