Hi guys

I have another thread on here on a plc that is password protected and this is really a follow up on that but as it is a side issue i thought i'd start a new thread.

Is it possible to get a siemens usb prommer to show up as a physical drive in windows?

It seems to be locked to Step7/Step5 which makes sense.

The reason I'm asking is that I want to open a 128k S7 flash eeprom card
(951-0KG00-0AA0) outside of step7.

Otherwise, would a PCMIA card reader work in this case?

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where there is a compatibility list of what software packages (obviously Siemens) the external prommer works with?
