Have any of you worked with Simatic IT, siemens MES system. We have had it for about a year now, and I find it to be incredibly difficult to use, and doesn't seem to provide the data you want in a usefull way.
It is not at all user friendly to modify.
If you want to add a user you must goto administration and add them to a list, then you must manual set up all of there default features(there is no way to copy another users feature set or define a default, seeing as ours are all identicle). After this you must export, edit, then import 3 or 4 different XML pages with the new user info so they can use all of the features. The user must be added to a group, then the group must be setup with privilidges on each page you want them to view(about 30 or 40 of them)
Anyways, I'm not a fan.
