Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I'm running into this situation myself.
I have the PC USB Adapter (6ES7 972-OCB20-0XA0) and I'm trying to communicate with an S7-200 (CPU 226XM), while using MicroWin V3.2 SP4. I'm using a Windows XP VM image to do so.
Are people able to communicate to the S7-200 while it's still at the 9600 baud rate? Seems like some people in this thread said yes, others said no? I am able to select 9.6k in the Set PG interface screen when I select PPI.
Just trying to see if I need another adapter or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
