SLC5/03 & PanelView 300 Message Display/Function Key Process
Can anyone explain the display and Function Key program flow between the SLC5/03 & PanelView 300 or DTAM for example, when a Function Key is pressed and when there is a message or alarm to display. I am trying to understand the programming in an SLC5 for example using N7:0 for Screen Read, N7:1 for ACK/NACK Write, N7:2 for Screen Write, and bits B13:0 to B13:n for Function Keys F1 to Fn. How are the messages in a PanelView 300 or DTAM stored and referenced by the SLC5 when a Function Key is pressed or when there is a message to display? I am inexperienced in programming display panels. Thank You
