SYSWIN 3.4 Instruction Help

Thanks with the help with these instructions so far. I seem to struggle to interpret the help it gives you for the instructions.

I have an instruction that is a XFER(70)

N=2
St= DM0002
D= DM0001

Does this mean it will put the contents of word DM0002 into the Words DM0001 and DM0002? This seems strange obviously DM0002 doesnt need to be copied into?

This instruction will transfer (XFER70) the number of words (N) from the starting location (St) to the destination (D)

In this case: 2 words are transferred
DM0002 moves to DM0001
DM0003 moves to DM0002

You are correct. It does not make sense to copy information back into the same location unless there is a reason. In this case it appears that the information is shifted into the next location.

Regards,
