TIA Portal 13 SP1 crashes as I am trying to create a new project

I'm trying to install TIA portal V13 SP1 on my computer. The system crashes and exits as soon as I try to creat a new project

Can anybody help please?

I do the routine to create the project. My problem is that the software crashes after I create the project. (just after I see the hourglass). It says that this prob must not have happened then close.

Problem was fixed. I talked to SIEMENS. There was an issue regarding the SCOUT software version not matching TIA.
