Toshiba PLC MDR40S (newbie)

hi all

I am new to the PLC enviroment i was given a toshiba plc mdr40s and told to make it work.

Can someone assist me or point me in the right direction to get up and work. I have extensive programming knowledge of vb so i thought programming in ladder logic would be hard.

I need help in powering it up as well. Can some gave me a basic program with a output.
