Hello guys,
I have compact Guardlogix L30ERMS with IP address set to 192.168.1.11
a Panelview compact 600 with IP 192.168.1.12 and a 1734 AENT series B with IP set to 192.168.1.13.
every device is discoverable in the RS Linx tree just not the 1734 AENT ethernet module.
I've 3 IO module connected to this 1734 AENT module with chassis size set to 4
I'm getting error 16#0204: Communication request error.
The IP at the thumbwheel of the 1734 AENT is also set to 013 which is 192.168.1.13
I tried connecting to the 1734 AENT module with the BOOTP-DHCP tool but it doesn't discover the module too
what exactly has gone wrong here?

Welcome to the PLCTalk forum community !

Can you PING the module, get a response from its built-in Web page, or see it in an RSLinx Classic browse ?

If you have the rotary switches set for .13, then the IP address is definitely 192.168.1.13, regardless of any other settings.

What is the status of the diagnostic LEDs on the 1734-AENT ? Have you verified there is no conflict by PINGing, unplugging, and PINGing again ?
