Programming Calbe - Micrologix 1200

Hello,

Does anyone know if can use a :

TSXCUSB48 + TSXCRJMD2 (Telemecanique Cables, the first one is a USB->RS485 and the second one is a RS485->8pin mini Din)

The TSXCUSB48 cable have the following configurations: TER DIRECT, TER MULTI, OTHER DIRECT, OTHER MULTI (which I'm not sure what they are, but I realized that OTHER DIRECT is for Modbus Communication).



to program a Micrologix 1200 ?

No.. you need a 1761-CBL-PM02

Try it, let us know how it works

Just keep in mind that one of the pins on the MicroLogix is 24vdc and will blow up your computer if you are wrong.
