mgvol Member M Join Date Dec 2004 Location Knoxville, TN Posts 746 Mar 28, 2005 #3 2-wire VFD control typically means you are using maintained switches (i.e. Closed=run Open=stop or Closed=run fwd and or run rev Open=stop). 3-wire is more like a traditional hard-wired motor ckt with momentary start/stop pushbuttons.
