PanelView Download Troubles

Hey folks,

I'm betting this has been answered a few times but I can't seem to find the answer.

I've setup a control logix gateway (1756-ENBT/A, 1756-DHRIO/C x2) to communicate with my PLC network (All SLC 5/04) over ethernet. The PLC network behind the gateway is DH+ (57.6K).

My problem is that I can not upload/download to my panelview 550s over the ethernet. The models are 2711-K5A5 running firmware 2.xx and connected to the PLC via the serial port setup for DH-485.

I believe the problem is located in RSLinx v2.43, I can pass-thru to see the DH485 (Chan 0) on the PLC but nothing on the other side of it (The Panelview). I've always had to plug directly into the DH+ network to upload/download via a PCMK card.

If anyone knows how to solve this any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not COMPLETELY the same problem...but very similar...

This has happened to me before. I started or joined another thread that investigated this very issue.
In short, I had to connect to the DH+ port on the RIO/DH+ card with the PCMK-B card/cable combination. You can download successfully that way.
If you browse the LG5K rack in Rslinx, you can actually drill down to the PV550 with ease. In Panelbuilder, you can start a download using the passthrough Rslinx option. The problem is, about 3/4 of the way through the download the transmission fails.
