I am new to this forum and I would like to say hello to everybody.I could find in here usefull information, so I thought to join.
I have an issue about messaging between a cp 5/05 and cp 5/04 through 1761 ENI.
My settings are as follows:
1761ENI
IP 010.010.001.040
mask 255.255.0.0
gateway 000.000.000.000
message routing:
destn. 1 101 010.010.001.201
I can communicate with cp5/04 through 1761ENI with a PC.
So I guess everything is fine between cp5/04 and ENI.
CP05/5 MSG instruction in the program:
peer-to-peer
read
target: 500cpu
local/remote: local
N17:0
MSG setup screen:
500CPU read
data table address: N17:0
sizen elements:1
channel: 1
For target device:
message timeout: 0 (cannot modify)
data table address:N10:0
ethernet IP Address: 10.10.1.40
local/remote: local
multihop:No
I cannot read from cp5/04 (in the first step).
If anyone can see the problem or have suggestions,
