Does anyone know of any light duty encoders, that can be directly wired to 8 bits on an input card. I don't care if it counts binary or grey code, I can use either one. I need a simple setup, with no amplifier. After searching the internet, the only thing I can find is a 3 wire output that only comes on for a few microseconds. Is there such a thing of an encoder that has 8 outputs to be wired directly to an input card.
