Greetings,
Using AD for the first time and I need to integrate a controller into InTouch. Have an H2-ECOM ethernet module and I was planning to use KEPDirect as on OPC link between the two.
Alas, KEP is not yet WIN7 ready!

Any other advice or solutions for making this work?
I thought about trying to setup my ECOM for Modbus TCP and then using Wonderware's MBENET driver to connect. Does that sound promising??

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
Mike

Hello,

PeakHMI has an AD driver and an included OPC DA server. As well as other parts. ;)

You can download the demo from here and see if it works for you.

Automation Direct now has a version of KEPDirect that is Vista compliant and runs well on Windows 7 OS's. It is the same Version 5 server the Kepware has been shipping. They have been shipping for about a month. Contact them for an upgrade path.

you will want to use the dasmbtcp driver instead.

Thanks for the info. I contacted AD tech support about a week ago and was told they are waiting for a Win7 version...
I will try them again.

ANd while I wait I may just try the DAS driver suggested by diat150...that may be my least expensive option.

Thx for the suggestions guys.
