Connecting SLC 5/03 to Magelis through DH-485

I'm trying to connect my SLC 5/03 to the Magelis XBTGT4330 through the RJ45 port. They both use DH485, but the pinouts are different.
For the SLC, the pinouts are:

1 RED CH. B TX/RC 1 TOP
2 BLACK CH. A TX/RC 2
3 BROWN +24 VDC 3 **
4 WHITE SIGNAL GND 4
5 BLUE TX-EN 5
6 DRAIN EARTH GND 6 **
7 GREEN SIGNAL GND 7
8 ORANGE +24 VDC 8 BOTTOM

and the XBTGT4330:

1 --
2 --
3 --
4 - D1 (+) - Send Data (Positive Signal)
5 - D0 (-) - Send Data (Negative Signal)
6 --
7 --
8 - GND - Common Ground

Tried connecting D1 to Ch B and D0 to Ch A and vice versa, but not luck! any ideas why this isn't working?

I have no experience with your HMI, but how did you wire the signal GND's?

tried every combination.. common ground to gnd 7, gnd 6, and gnd 4 separately.. still no luck

Are you sure that the Magelis has DH485 protocol? I think it just has an RS485 port but uses some other schneider protocol, not DH485. DH485 is AB's properietary protocol, which just happens to run on an RS485 type interface.

You can configure the DH485 driver in the Vijeo software the magelis comes with, so it should work as DH485

I'll state the obvious,baud rate the same, node addresses different.

yeah, did that too.
Schneider says you would need XBT ZG939 and XBT Z9732, with RJ 45 on both ends, so I don't see why I can't just make a cable straight through
