Red lion G3 + Misubushi Q series IP address Question

Greetings all

Confused, need help live environment

Have a problem, might be simple or being lined up to be shot.

Newbie in the field, need pointing in the right direction.

Need to change the IP address's on both items.

My problem is that I could just change the IP's through crimson and thats it. "Job well done".

It might work as crimson will change IP address on Mitsubishi PLC, or do I need to change it on PLC ??, using GX developer.

just looking for confirmation.

Crimson will not change the IP address on the PLC.

You *set* the IP address of the Display through Crimson, and you tell the Display (through Crimson) which IP address to look for to find the PLC, but the PLC needs to already be at that address for the Display to find it.

I haven't worked with Mitsubishi, but I assume that would be done through the Programming software - most PLCs are set that way.
