s7-1200 <-> s7-1200 communication

Hi!

I have never used the communication between two s7-1200 other then when I want to learn and try programming solutions.

I have used T_CON etc but now I stumbled over GET and PUT instructions.

What are the pros and cons with the two diffrent ways of communicating?
