We have an old version PVPlus 600 connect to PLC 5/03 by DH485 (2711P-RN3). Now the PVPlus is not working, need to be replaced but we don't have the source code of the PVPlus and the PLC(we have the .mer file on a SF card). Will it be ok to use the new version PVPlus 600 with a 232-485 converter?

I guess there would be some comm settings but wondering if they can all be done through the PVPlus config screens. The application settings only shows:

Serial-DH485
- SLC-5/03 Processor 1
.... DF1 Point-to-Point
