Communicating with 2 Softlogix on the same rack

Hi guys,

I am trying to simulate programs on 2 different SoftLogix controlers on the same rack. (see the attach file)

I want to know if I need to put 2 different Ethernet/IP Softlogix5800 Ethernet/IP in this rack with 2 different IP adress to communicate in between the 2 with MSG bloc read and write? Or only one is ok?

I am not having good result right now so...What's the good way to do this?

I have found the solution: As my 2 controllers are on the same softlogic rack, I don't need to go onto the ethernet/IP card.

So the message configuration path only needs to be : ''1, slot number''
