1756-IF8 Changing from differential mode to single

I am using a ControlLogix rack and a few cards from a previous machine. I would like to change this 1756-IF8 from differential mode to single . Do I need to delete this card and configure as new ? If I do , how do I configure it in the same slot. Of course , I would like to just change it to single-ended mode and go with it. Any easy way.
