i have B&R ipc 5000 which is failing at booting the windows xp , it runs on 512 mb CF card
how can i fix this .. is there any solution
to fix the windows or run the ipc somehow ?

Hi
you can try to copy the CF card. Maybe there is some bad sectors that cause the issue. I am not sure, but maybe on a new CF it could work.

If you have another machine with this CF card, you could copy it from that one alternatively.

Hopefully you have a backup somewhere otherwise you'll probably have to get one from the OEM. If you have a backup download the B&R Runtime Utility Center https://www.br-automation.com/en/downloads/software/automation-netpvi/pvi-development-setup/

I think you can install just the free utility to make/burn images.

You then need to find a compatible CF card. Not all CF cards are interchangeable. I've used Cactus to get a good reliable CF card. https://www.cactus-tech.com/products/industrial-grade/compact-flash/ You can contact them with your specifications and they can help you get the right CF.

Good luck.
