I've got a question about the Banking Screw accessory for Balluff Switches.
I have a 12 MM Banking Screw (BALLUFF BESA-12-50-12-BANKING-SCREW) and a 12 MM Inductive Proximity Switch (BALLUFF BES 516-325-G-S4-C)
The Prox switch picks up on the surrounding banking screw and turns on regardless of how deep or shallow the prox is mounted in the banking screw. Do I have to use a switch with a smaller sensing distance (currently the switch has a distance of 4mm, and you can go down to 2mm)? Or do I have to use a proximity switch that only detects Iron (But I think the outside of the banking screw is iron too...)?
The data with the banking screw doesn't mention any specifications as to the type of sensor you need to use.
