Can Anybody Help Me?????

My problem is I need to know the pin out of a comms lead so that I can communicate to a Micrologix 1200 via an AIC+ module. I can connect to the PLC direct via a straight 9pin to pin lead from my computer. But I really need to know the pin out of a 9pin d-sub to the 8pin round connector. Tried an AB 9pin to round pin converter but this failed to work was bought for communicating to an old SLC504 series.
