EDS Files

Does any one have an EDS file for some old Devicenet ArmorBlocks lying around?


I'm hoping to find eds files for both 1792D-8BVT0D and 1792D-4BV0D modules...

I have the EDS files you are looking for, but I am not sure I am allowed to post them. Could be against the PLCS.net forum rules.

It looks like Rockwell Automation has condensed a lot of their DeviceNet EDS files into a single ZIP on the Product Compatibility and Download Center, instead of having individual database entries and downloads for every device and file.

Use the keywords "EDS Files All" and scroll down to find the item labeled

00010007*.EDS for Digital, Discrete, General Purpose IO

The auto-executing downloader should put that as a folder in C:\RA\EDS

The index for all the EDS files in the PCDC says that those specific part numbers correspond with EDS file names as follows:

1792D-8BVT0D : 1792D-8BVT0D 8Input V2.1 : 00010007043D0200.eds

1792D-4BV0D : 1792D-4BV0D 4Input V2.1 : 00010007043A0200.eds

I found both of those EDS files (for v1 and v2 firmware) in the download for the "Digital, Discrete, General Purpose IO".
