Factory talk view ME on industrial PC

Hi everyone
I have a dough mixing system on our plant that uses slc504 as a plc and wonderware intouch as a HMI.
The application is reasonably small (about 8 screens) and straight forward.
Coms is DH+ through a DH+ to ethernet converter.
Industrial PC is a Rockwell 6181P-15A2MW71AC
i have had a system integrator quote to replace this system using compactlogix and factory talk view me.
My question is whats involved in running factory talk view me on an industrial pc. I know it runs on the panelview plus 6 & 7 hmi's but never heard of it on a windows 7 industrial pc.
If it can be done.
Would standard factory talk view studio software licence that i use for the panelviews be able to make changes to the application?

You need to buy and install ME Station. This is the runtime that will run a MER on windows. ME Station is what allows you to test run your applications within factory talk view studio ME, it is just unlicensed, so it only runs for 2 hours

You need a licenses for ME Station. Issues i had was it liked to be ran as an administrator. ME Station doesn't seem to like it a lot if your IT department has strict security restrictions.
