Factory Talk View SE can't delete project

There is a tool called Stop SE Services that will stop the services and allow the FactoryTalk View project to be deleted. This is a Rockwell software tool.

I received this information from another member in a direct email reply and I am posting it here for anyone at any time in the future.

Check into Stop SE Services utility from Rockwell.

That simply does not stop all services all of the time. I don't even bother with it any more, I just go and manually disable every single Rockwell service, or format the HD.

In a distributed environment, even unplugging a server from the network will still leave the stupid cache files locked.

FTView is a steaming pile of excrement, and hasn't improved with later revisions.
