Hi..
I have to used Hardy 3030 using Remote I/O that connected to PLC-5/40. I need to configure block transfer to read the scale reading from HI 3030. I need some samples or guideline how to configure PLC-5/40 and BTR/BTW.
Thank you for help.
James

You need to obtain the manual for the scale remote I/O board.

I've never worked with Hardy, but have used Metler-Toledo scales with RIO boards insalled.

With the Metler-Toledo model, no Block Transfers are required, The scale is configured as a full rack, with 8 input words and 8 output words, this may be the case for the Hardy as well. If block transfers are required, you will still need the manual to know what information is contained in what registers.

The only way to know is read the Hardy manual.
