Interfacing MicroLogix 1200 to SLC 500

Afternoon All,

I am working on a Project to bring I/O from a MicroLogix 1200(1762-L40AWA) to a SLC 5/05 (1747-L551)NOTE all of this work is Brownfield so big changes aren't in the cards

I also have a 1761-NET-AIC+ interface with the MicroLogix module

I'm looking to use the DH485 from the AIC to connect to the SLC, Is this even possible? From checking the AB documentation the 1747 and the 1762 are DH485 enabled can the IO maps be sent from the 1762 to the 1747 so that we can read the IO?
