Hi there folks,
i have a project at work to convert a beijer mac 90 to a E600 unit. My Q is is there an easy way to convert the current prog.
i am using mac programmer + and E designer along with a cab5 cable.

ive tried opening the mac file with e designer but it just comes up with "unidentified unit" and then i cant see any blocks ect. :(

many thanks

The key to your issue may be SW-MTA-WIN. I'm using version 4.1 and can open a MAC-90 (MTA-G1 in th US) program and save to an E600. Check with your local Mitsubishi rep for the software.

Can you open the program in MAC+ (Mac+ and E-designer are almost the same program)

Or can you upload the program from the HMI with Mac+

I am not familiar with the Mac-90 but I am with the E 600.

Converting may not be straight forward. The E600 might have more buttons and more functions that the mac90.

But, if you can upload the program from the hmi with mac+ it would not take too long to convert it manualy. You could run mac+ and E designer together, swapping from one to the other writing the parameters as you go.

thanks

cheers guys:
goody yes i can open the file from the mac in mac p+ no problem. converting it manually is what i have been doing i just thought maybe there was a way of converting the basic programme structor any then start to debug moving buttons ect.
i'm familier with the e series but not the macs.
