Mitsubishi GoT HMI problem

i have an HMI touch screen with type mitsubishi GOT970
and i want to take a backup of the programme inside it to be installed on another one which has no OS
which software can do this ????????

but not an easy task because of the age of the HMI

i got the software and try to do using USB to Rs232 cable but i am getting a communication error "Timeout error 0259"
i checked all what can make this error comes and problem still
cable is ok and well connected
configured at the correct port
HMI is powered on
and i tried all baud rates from the lowest one
please tell me what i can do?

it is difficult not seeing what you are.
for me it has been about 2 years since I did this.
can you confirm the connections?

is there another method to get connection ?
i am using RS232 to USB cable

is this an S232 o USB converter or a Nul modem cable
what is the Pinouts
is it (2-3 & 3-2) or (2-2 & 3-3)
of the top of my head I cant remember
I will look into it tonight

i have a USB to RS232 male cable..and the HMI pinout is male also . so i put a converter female-female in between..is that right??

no you need a nul modem cable the convertor is a port only

this nul modem cable will be connected between RS male pinout and HMI male pinout or this direct between PC and HMI?

it is heree in my organised mess somewhere

the only posible change could be
2-2 & 3-3
instead of
2-3 & 3-2
this is usualy the issue when comms won't talk

2 - 3
3 - 2
5 - 5
4 - 6+8
6+8 - 4


but now another problem>>>>>

error occurred <00000133>
GOT Type errror occurred

although i choosed the correct HMI model
& the controller is MELSEC-FX
