Yes, although I personally consider their implementation of IEC standard a disaster.

I really don't like statements like that. Provide examples of why you think the IEC motion commands are bad.
You may have only seen a bad implementation.

I think the IEC motion commands are OK. The provide a good place to start. There is a need to add more commands.
