NT600S communication problem

I get used nt600s but i have communication problem NT-series SUPPORT TOOL ver 4.82 between NT600S-ST121-EV3
I read all post on site but nothing fix problem.

First i make cable using c200h-cn229-eu

after i setup in nt600s

Automatic Reset : OFF
Data Bit Lenght : 8bits
Stop Bit Lenght : 1bit

Flow Control : None
RS-232C Speed : 9600bps

same was setup in setting com1 in winXp

When i try send from NT-series
on hmi is

PT -> Tool
Evaluation Data
0 KB

could you please help me with this.

Just some guesses.

Support Tool Mode : NT600S -are there other options here? Such as transfer?


Tool > PT - if downloading to terminal?

There is second option in this field on pt :

Support Tool Mode : NT600M

These are instructions from years ago for a NT20M, suppot tool ver 4.2
- if it can be any help.


DUMPING PROGRAM LOGIC FROM COMPUTER
TO OPERATOR INTERFACE (TOUCH SCREEN)

NOTE
The "NTM Support Tool" (the name of the software that programs
the Touch Screen) is a bit picky about how it is set up. The
method that we have found to work reasonably well, is to install
it in a sub-directory named "NT". When you start it the first time,
by typing NTM enter, select "Tool Settings", and set your
preferences, it writes a file to your root directory, named,
NTMSET.ENV. This file is the configuration file for NTM.
1. Connect serial cable to computer and Touch Sreen(under cover at left).
2. At the computer(enter the appropriate Sub-directory)type NTM and press
enter.
3. Select "EDIT SCREENS" and press enter.
4. At the Display, depress "STOP" + up arrow + down arrow
5. Cursor to "Transmit Mode".
6. Press yellow ENTER button - located on display screen.
7. At your computer, you should be in the first screen after the main
menu. Select the file you wish to transmit. (DO NOT PRESS ENTER).
8. Press "F6"
9. Select "Tool to NTM"
10. Press Enter.
11. When "Confirm ?" comes up, press "Y".
12. Press Enter
13. Screen will acknowledge that data is being transmitted. Additionally,
you will be able to see a Graphics display progressing on the Touch
Screen.
14. When completed, the computer will show "DATA SUCESSFULLY TRANSMITTED".
15. At the Display, depress "STOP"+ up arrow + down arrow , Touch Screen
returns to "RUN" mode
16. At the computer press "ESC" untill you have reached the Main Menu.
17. Select "EXIT" and you may disconnect the cable, etc.

MAKE SURE "DIRECT SETTINGS" in (TOOLS) is set to NO. Do not
convert to file!

I try connect using your diagram cable

and i read instruction from pdf but i still get 0 KB

maybe you have any new idea , or maybe you know how to make hart reset nt600s ?

I'm sorry, it's been years since I've worked with omron. The only thing
I can think of is the Transmit Mode set on the PT (programming terminal).

To download from computer to touchscreen you need...Tool > PT
To upload from touchscreen to computer you need.....PT > Tool

I don't know of any way to hard reset the terminal, if I understood
the question correctly. Sometimes there is a tiny button on the back
of the unit, or inside on the PC board.
If you are downloading to PT, the process will overwrite any existing
data in the touch screen.

Can you confirm the operation of your com1 port connection through some
other device?

Assuming you have installed the NT transfer utility and followed the
uploading/downloading instructions, I'm out of ideas.

Hello

I check before my connection by com1 add other devices work so my com working . I setup in pt by rs232 speed 9600 8 bit 1 bit and setup same settings in windows xp .

About reset i was think about reset system software not only program .
