I want to connect three PLCs together.

I have two SLC 5/03s. One with an available serial port, and one with an available DH485 port. And one SLC 5/04 with an available DH+ port. The serial port is connected to an HMI on this one.

On one of the 5/03s the serial port is connected to an HMI and on the other 5/03 the dH485 port is connected to an HMI.

What is a good way to connect these three PLCs together? It would also be nice to end up with an ethernet connection, but I am still interested in knowing what other DH+ or DH485 options I have.

But, in the future, I was thinking about having remote access over the internet to these machines.

Do you have spare slots in all 3 PLC racks? If so, you can add a DH+ port and connect all using the Data Highway Plus comm protocol.
