Sorry guys and gals I recently was sent the following email and had to share it. It seems pretty honest and straight forward. Its to bad the people in power wont ever see this.
I have read and fully agree with the contents of this letter. I do however have some things to add onto it that should also be noted.
1. A few years ago I worked for a meat packing facility. They would not give us 4th of July off but they would give the others Cinco De Meyo (sp?)
2. Its to bad our own govenment whom we elect, or at least thing we elect, can not stand up for the people. They cater to the illegals and do little for the natural born. The last president with balls was FDR or I think it was FDR. In one of the chats he said THIS IS AMERICA AND ENGLISH IS THE SPOKEN AND WRITTEN LANGUAGE. This should be the case but we have TV providers whom put foreign channels on their networks and then expect everyone to pay for it. What has happened to the if you dont want or use it why pay for it?
3. Greed is the primary reason our economy is in the shambles it is in. Banks and lenders not doing their job and writing bad mortgages. The players in the stock market such as that Soros guy mentioned here. And many others. I mean I recently heard where most countries the CEO rates are like 18 to 24 times the average of the employees, and that if there are fewer employees to manage the ceo makes less. Sounds like a fair way. But is it the way the USA does it??? NO the average pay of the ceo's in the USA is 400 to 450 times.
4, Then we have NAFTA and other government rules that allow these managment people to send the jobs overseas so they can make a bigger profit while paying people less. Again refers back to greed.
5. Then you have the govenment again who has been in office for far to long and can not see the problems. I think that all the the government offices should have term limits same as the president. here is a big problem, sign and enact NAFTA, jobs go overseas, now you have all the people whom did work for that company on unemployement, then you have all the illegals which the government is doing nothing about, they are getting all kinds of government money free of charge, so the governement looks at this and what do they choose to do? Well we must raise taxes. Which now makes it even harder for John Q public which puts more out of work and the visious cycle just keeps getting bigger and bigger, Much like a snow ball rolling down hill.
Come on people wake up get the dead weight out of governement. Dead weight would be people like the Kennedy clan and I sure there are others.
Now onto our education, lets put it bluntly, it really stinks. I have a friend whom is a professor and says that kids comming from school nowdays dont even know differential equasions. then like in the school in calif where they let them fly the mexican flag and the other schools where they let the kids speak eubonics and when they turn in reports they can use things such as the slang used in IM and text messaging? This is BS. Where has this country gone???
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.
