OT: Step 7 xmas puzzle

Well, I opened the file with Paint.net and then trimmed out the suspect pixels. Then I opened the file with notepad++ and thought I saw some text that looked like a snippet of PLC code in structured text language, but I don't know how to interpret it.

Am I going about this wrong?

I bet if I had step 7 software I could open the original bitmap and finger it out...

I used a hex editor to insert the S7 source code into the bit map.
