hello all...

i was facing some issue rergading cable ( com cable between scada and PLC)
always beaten by Rat (roden)..even had call pest control to solve but unable
even had protect it in conduit but it always find way bite it .

i was thinking to use wireless device which able to connect between scada and plc ..by replacing cable's..

example fix wireless r232 serial port transmitter at pc (HMI)
and fix recevier r232 at PLC ( say model c200he) port..
estimate about 40mtr..

would it work ? or a`1 had try this ?

I have used wireless bridges to connect a PLC to a plant network and also between two PLCs in separate buildings. I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work between the PLC and HMI with the right equipment.
