random output

Thanks for the 'waypoints', I finally located it. I wasn't using the left side menu to navigate... 🙃

Downloading it right now, I'll check it out later tonight.

hi Eric
did you make any progress yet ?
i tried all day to write this function with timers,
and it's not working :( :(
you are my last hope,i can't find anyone here in israel
that will do this for me.the guy who sold it to me asked
for a lot of mony to programme it for me.
if you do not have the time..its o.k,
i will work it up somehow...
i am here if you need me
thanks
zahi

Patience, my man... You're starting to drool!... ;oP

OK, I checked out the software and was not impressed (though it WAS free!)...

Anyway, instead of me wasting time learning software I'll never use, it will be a LOT quicker if you just zip your .vlp file and attach it here so I can see where you're at. I can probably just modify it and send back for you to test. Use the "Attach File" button at the bottom when you reply to this message (see THIS LINK for help with attachments).

Once you've attached the program, others (besides me) will probably have a go at it as well.

hi eric
i cut out what i programmed about the wave maker..it is useless..
i wrote some notes for you on the software so you wil know the duty
of each net.
i understand this software is to easy for you ???
by the way you got there on line check so you can see what i did,
and when you are on line (press the glasses icon), you see another
icon which will show you the plc display and buttons (interactive).
hope you find time for this...
thanks a lot

Thomas
it is not fishy it is corals !
i am shure you will let us know
when you find what is fishy ? o.k?
thank you

I know what he is striving for and I think that your going about it the LONG way around.

For the "Random" control for the Powerheads, setup a simple "shift register" and just load a routine of several time base values to create a "Random" effect.

Some of the features that I'm putting in -

a 2 x 20 line LCD display
a "brick" PLC
RTD temp probe
High load relays
Dimmer control
Wave control WAVE CONTROL CLICKY

Will monitor & control

Lights
Filters
Two powerheads (To circulate the water causing a "Wave" effect
Temperature
pH
ORP

Will pretty much have all the features of the Commercial Controllers at $600.00+ for a WHOLE LOT LESS.

Will have to post some pic's of my tank controller when done.

and don't have the time for this
maybe you have it ready ?

Hey Zahi,

1. Yes, AutomationDirect / Koyo unit, model# - D0-05DR
2. No, you need a transducer to a analog card.
3. Yes, will take some time when I have a moment.
4. No, not yet.
5. No I haven't.

Will try to post or E-mail something between now and Monday.

Zahi, On a side note...
The reason I'm going this route is
1. I have the parts to do it.
2. I can design / build / program it cheap.
3. I can support it.

hi paradym

if i have analog input on my plc,
this input is in range of -5mv to 56 mv.
isn't that the voltage range of a probe?
also i have in the plc linearization of analog input,
i know a prob has a zero amper to drive an input, even
a digital voltmeter can't read it because the voltage drops .
do i steel need transducer to a analog card ?

and
to all of you guys how helped me to get this far...thank you.
a few unpleasent conversetion with unitronics, solved the problem,
and now i have the random effect ladder.
i never could have programme it myself... ;)
here it is for who is interested .
thanks
