So instead of copying a bat file manually to a panelview plus during commissioning of a project, I would like to save the bat file into the runtime somehow (maybe some magic activex control i don't know of). Then upon startup, the activex control saves the bat tile to the root folder of the PV+. Is there some way of doing this?

A Bat is just a renamed text file, so if the panel view has capabilities of outputting Strigs of Text to a CSV or TXT file then use this function to creat the file and force the name to be xxxx.bat

This is a very interesting idea. But is there a txt output functionality in the panelview? I've never heard of it before.
