Hi everybody!

Normally I work with Beijers panels only but now a customer has a couple of Siemens panels (MP277 10" Touch and MP377 15" Touch).

With the Beijer panels we are logging some data, the data get´s saved in the builtin FTP-Server... From the FTP-server I upload the log files (*.csv) to another system and processes them there.

Is this possible in the Siemens Panels? I took a quick look in WinCC flex and from what I could see it was possible to save the log files on a network drive... But is there any FTP server support or anything else?

Best Regards

Hej Edmund.

First, you need to install the archives option on the panels in order to log data (on the newer comfort panels logging is included in the standard setup).

Then, if you install the smartservice option on the panel, then the panel can be reached via a webbrowser. And then it should also be possible to reach the file system on the panel for uploading of the logged data. I havent actually tried the last part myself, but that is how it should work.

You can try both even if you dont have any license for the above options yet. You will just get a nag-screen on the panels every now and then.
