I am playing with a new MP370 panel. I don't think you would call it an Active X control but I do have a DLL that was made for XP. I have it working on my PC with WinCC Flexible using a Script. I would like to see if it will work on the MP370 CE panel. I don't know much about DLL files so I am not sure if the operating system will take them but I have a little time so I thought I would try.

Second part of the question is how do I get the file to the panel. I put it on my USB jump drive and plugged it in. I get a pop up on the panel asking for the name of the driver. I checked with my local tech guy and he told me his panel works just fine with his jump drive. I can do some searching for drivers for the drive but should they be CE drivers or will the XP drivers work?

Any ideas?
