I wana communicate with AB PLC 1747 L20A,
I want to now that how can it communicate with that processor I have RS 232 in my Laptop and also what is the protocol of 1747 L20Acommunication.

Your processor supports DH485 protocol. The most common method to communicate is with a 1747-PIC (old device- need real serial port) or
with a 1747-UIC ( new device- USB to DH 485 converter)
